Issey miyake designer

We were told to work on one person from our presentation in class last Monday. Well I
chose fashion designer Issey Miyake although he doesn't like to be called a fashion designer. He prefers to be called an artist who's medium is fabric. Mr Miyake was born April 22 1938, in Hiroshima Japan. On August 6 1945 the first atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima and seven year old Issey at the time was there. Of coarse this was a very time for young Issey and till this very day Mr. Miyake reports that he saw things that time that no one should ever see. It was horrific. To add to the sadness three years later his mother died. The horror that young Issey miyake witnessed played a major part in who he decided to become, creating one of the worlds most accomplished award winning designers. Issey wanted to put his past life behind him and not be none as the designer or boy that witnessed the bombing of Hiroshima. He had a strong desire for all thing beautiful and wanted to be a creator not a destroyer.
Issey Miyake won countless amounts of awards and was none for his iconic line called pleats please. . Issey is not just a fashion designer he also does accessories and perfumes for men and women. Mr. Miyake went to school in Paris to Tokyo and has had some of. The best teacher to help created the mastermind behind his creative works. Issey admired fashion art dance and the way that fabric draped over the human form.and although during the time he was in school for being a designer this wasn't considered of being a profession for males. It was a woman's profession. But this none the less didn't stop him. He continued to sore and wow the people year after year. Issey miyake explored fashion in all aspects and created works of art for the simplicity to the most extreme.
