Describe the design process it's categories and how it's used.
The Design Process is a sequence of stages that has a start and an end point to complete a project. No matter how big or small the project certain steps must be made for completion.
The first step is identifying the problem. You must first figure out if there even is a problem and can it be fixed.
The second step is generating new ideas.
Conceptual methods.
Examples you must brain storming. That's taking a few ideas from different folks, figuring out which one is best and then taking it to another level.
Mental inventory is a private search for ideas.
Research. Which is basically looking up past attempts. Seeing if its been done the way your doing it or could it be done better.
Third step is refine and analyze this is first cycle of evaluation and criticism.
The more finished ideas , the presentation drawing that's for the clients and working drawing. These have a function.
The forth step is is making an prototype which shows exactly how subject will operate.
Fifth step is deciding the final cycle of evaluation. There maybe some fine tuning involved.
Step six. Implement. Is dealing with all the paper work final decisions if sold or not.
