So I decided to go back to my original idea and create a mask type project with repurposed materials. . I'm going to you plaster Paris for the mold and shredded paper for the dress. And the recycled materials for the hair of the materials.

Consciousness is the quality or state of being aware of an external object or something within ones self.

Definition: Dual consciousness exists when people hold one set of beliefs based on the mainstream culture and a contradictory set of beliefs based on their actual experience. This term was coined by W.E.B DuBois in The Souls of Black Folk. He used it in reference to African-Americans who struggle between the identities of being both American and Black. However, the term can be used for anybody who feels an identity struggle.
